| | Sounds like your display is searching for a connection from the DVI port. How is your computer connected to the display? Is the display set for auto or is it set manually for the type of connection you're using? |

| | Hi jrg and welcome to Windows 7 Forums  What is the make and model number of your monitor? This sounds like a monitor issue. Check the monitor manual for details on how to disable the OSD popups. |

| | Your OSD menu buttons are on the right side of your monitor, change the input select to DVI (it may be set to auto), the manual is linked below.
