Did you try the Custom installation and have it uninstall the previous version?
Tried both. It uninstalls the previous version anyway...as witnessed by the fact I ended up with no drivers at all.
I tried 2 seperate downloads from nVidia's download page too, just in case.
Thank God/MS for System Restore which works (sometimes).
;-) When I ran into situations like this with my ATI drivers, I would run driversweeper (see 3d guru) which you can have clean up after ATI or Nvidia drivers. It worked for me with ATI. | My System Specs |

I've had drivers that had issues but never ones that were invisible before.
I'll try them again at some later date after scouring the nVidia Forums for issues. | My System Specs | | System Manufacturer/Model Number Alienware® ALX X58 OS Vista Ult SP2/Win 7 Ult SP1/Win 8 Pro w/MC/x64/XP SP3 x86 in VM CPU Intel® Core™ i7-975 Extreme O/C to 4.02 GHz, 8MB Cache Motherboard Asus® P6T Deluxe V2 X58 LGA1366 Memory 12GB DDR3 SDRAM at 1600MHz - 6 x 2048MB Graphics Card 1792 MB NVIDIA® GeForce® GTX 295/Hauppauge HVR2250 TV Tuner Sound Card Onboard Soundmax® High-Definition 7.1 Performance Audio Monitor(s) Displays Samsung XL2370 LED backlit 23" W/S 2ms response time Screen Resolution 1920 X 1080 Keyboard Microsoft® Wireless Entertainment 8000 + Logitech® G15 Wired Mouse Microsoft® Wireless Laser 8000 + Logitech® G9 Wired PSU Alienware® 1200 Watt Multi-GPU Case Alienware® P2 ALX Chassis with AlienIce™ 3.0 Video Cooling Cooling Alienware® High-Perf. FWIW my WEI for graphics went up from 7.2 to 7.3 (GTS 450) but my Peacekeeper graphics scores (2D accelerated with Firefox pre beta10) seem to have gone down some. I am getting nightly Firefox beta builds - though I don;t think I got one between Peacekeeper runs, I could have. That is all I had time to do for now.
EDIT - my Peacekeeper score, after running again, is about the same as the 260.99. So 2D acceleration is about the same. Thanks for the update mate +rep.
I've read that this set is on par with the Quadro's 265.90. Which is very nice.
Definitely gonna give them a try when I get my 2500k + P8P67. | My System Specs | | System Manufacturer/Model Number Self Built OS Windows 7 Pro x64 SP1 CPU Intel Core i5-2500K Motherboard ASUS P8P67 Memory 8GB Corsair XMS3 DDR3 Graphics Card EVGA GeForce GTX 670 FTW Sound Card ASUS Xonar DS Monitor(s) Displays SAMSUNG P2070 Screen Resolution 1600 x 900 @ 60Hz Keyboard Logitech K300 Black Mouse Genius on Steelseries 4HD Gaming pad PSU Corsair TX950W Case Corsair Obsidian 650D Cooling Thermaltake Frío Hard Drives WD Caviar Blue Other Info Headphones: Sennheiser HD-515 |

Yeah, but don't think there would be any point. The .66 probably is just .58 fixes with the addition of making it work for the 560 Ti and nothing else extra. | My System Specs | | System Manufacturer/Model Number Airbot 2.0 OS Windows 7 Ultimate x64 SP1 CPU Core i7 920 (D0) @ 4Ghz, *26c idle *65c full load on air Motherboard Asus P6X58D Premium - Sata 6Gb/s - USB 3.0 Memory 12GB DDR3 Corsair Dominator -CMD12GX3M6A1600C8 at 1600MHz Graphics Card EVGA GeForce GTX 480 -Aftermaket Accelero Xtreme Plus cooler Sound Card ASUS Xonar D2X Monitor(s) Displays 1 LG 24" Flatron W2453V-PF 1 Samsung 24" P2450H both 2ms RT Screen Resolution 1920x1080@60hz Keyboard Logitech Wireless MK700 Mouse Logitech Wireless MK700 PSU Corsair HX1000W Case Cooler Master HAF 932 Cooling Case Fans *3 230mm, *1 140mm/CPU - *Tuniq Tower 120 Extreme Hard Drives 1 OCZ Vertex2 180GB SSD

In fact, the only time I've messed around with modified .inf(s) was when the Quadro's 265.90 first showed up.
