I wouldnt recommend people do that if theyre gamers. Quatro cards are for business or cgi graphics work and not designed for gaming and youd get very poor performance. Incidentally those cards cost like 3-4k each! | My System Specs | | System Manufacturer/Model Number self built OS Windows 7 Professional 64-bit CPU Intel E8400 3GHz Motherboard Intel DX48BT2 Memory Kingston PC3-10700H 4Gb Graphics Card XFX Radeon HD 5850 BlackEd. GeForce ForceWare 190.15 Win 7 | Vista (64-bit) GeForce ForceWare 190.15 Win 7 | Vista (32-bit) GeForce ForceWare 190.15 XP (32-bit) Quote: There's a new NVIDIA GeForce driver out on the loose and it's in fact the first series 190 driver ever. This is Forceware 190.15 The driver is available for Windows Vista 32- and 64-bit and for Windows XP a 32-bit flavor is available.
Very little is known about this driver but we need to stress that the original .inf file shows it was targeted at Quadro cards. We replaced the index with a modified .inf files (courtesy of laptopvideo2go) making the driver compatible with all current GeForce cards..
Interesting is that the Vista / Win 7 drivers also contact 3D Stereo drivers revision 190.15, look inside the archive to spot that yourself.
These drivers are to be considered very beta and thus treated as such. No physx with these drivers !
Oh and Swarfega
Feedback Quote: L4D,seems to run pretty good AA,and AS are working with this driver image qaulity is great Quote: Great drivers. Performances are equal to 186.08 (best performances ever with these on my 8800 GTX), but more stable and colder GPU, IQ is great too. Keepers Tested so far: prototype, Crysis/WH, GriD, Bioshock, DMC4, LostPlanet Colonies, UT3, World in Conflict, Mirror's Edge, CS Source. Everything is stable and fast. (Windows 7 Ultimate build 7229 x64) Quote: slow loading textures on prototype going back to 185.68. best for me Quote: Great drivers for me.All games running fast and smooth Edit; WOHOO FIXED AA IN EMPIRE TOTAL WAR!! Quote: AoC 30-60fps everything on high/ultra with forced AA at SLI32xQ in DirectX10 mode The only IQ difference vs. 186.08 I could see comparing screenshots, is that spelldetails are sharper and not so washed out as with the 186.xx sets. Quote: This is the best driver there is now!! And my index score went from: driver 185.65 :6.0 driver 190.15 :7.4!!! in windows 7!. My LCD tv sems sharper now! And games runs very smooth! 295GTX! Quote: so far it runs great, but i noticed some big changes...
1. the driver does not show up in the uninstall panel of windows.
2. the change resolution panel changed too, but when i whant to change the res of the second monitor (hdtv) the nvidia app is not responding and i have to kill the panel luckyli it worked the first time...
3. there is also no uninstall tab or whatever for physx, and it does not show up in the sys info of nvidia panel...but its installed i guess cause i can disable or enable it in the panel...lol
did something went wrong?? or am i the only one?!?!?
I don't see many complaints! Warning These are 3rd party modified drivers and are not official NVIDIA drivers.

190.15 is working great for me as well. I've finally been able to get my screen resolution up above 1024x768 in Prototype. Framerate is definitely better too. I've also noticed framerate increases in World In Conflict and Bioshock. | My System Specs | | System Manufacturer/Model Number Model #: BRMD10926 OS Windows 8 Pro x64 with WMC CPU AMD FX-4130 Quad 3.8Ghz Motherboard Asus M5A97 R2.0 Memory 8GB Corsair XMS3 DDR3 1600 Graphics Card Sapphire Radeon HD 6850 1GB 256-bit Sound Card On Board Realtek HD Monitor(s) Displays HP w185e Screen Resolution 1366x768 Keyboard HP Keyboard Mouse Onn optical mouse PSU 500W Case XION XON-180 Cooling Stock Hard Drives WD Raptor 7200 1TB Internet Speed 10Mbps DSL Other Info HP Pavilion p2-1033wb: Win7 Home Premium x64, AMD E-300 APU 1.3 Ghz dual core, 3GB DDR3, 500GB Hitachi HDD |
