I've been using 162.18 ever since I installed Windows 7 because all the newest drivers **** up some games resolution, for instance the game wont go fullscreen..

Ya I was wondering why everytime I ran Crysis Warhead, it would resort back to windowed mode and I'd have to go in settings and switch back to fullscreen before starting gameplay. I am on 190.62.

Also, I did not know you should install in safe mode. Is this a must?

its not a ''must'', & you by no means have to use ''safe mode'', but it makes any app installation easier b/c it greatly lowers the chance for software conflict..

''safe mode'' only loads the bare essentials for the desktop.

Ya thats what I figured. My Vid drivers were installed immediately after a fresh install so I think I am fine in that department. I am contemplating making a switch though to ATI for that 5870. Just waiting to see how the drivers pan out for it.

I just installed the latest 191 and so far all is fine. It's still got the 59 Hz Refresh Rate problem.. when are they going to fix that?

As per a forum search post 224 in this thread has a solution that worked for many: 59Hz

I'm going to try these out with my 9800GTX+ OC. I'll report back with my findings.
