Really? Did 180s run better for you?
my 3dmark points have been dropping ever since i left the 180s, my best 3dmark score is 18,050 points on these.

as soon as a left them it started dropping, its now at about 17.600 points......... & the 2D downclock dont work at all

i should go back, but it just feels like im missing out on something inside the newer drivers , so im just biding my time.
    Which version of 180s?
    lol..... now your asking something

i couldnt really say, i just remember 190.38 (i think this was the 1st 19x.xx driver i had) being awful this is when i noticed a drop in FPS, the driver i was running before that was either..185.81 or 186.18

so its gotta be related to the change over....... hundreds of ppl refuse to run the 19x.xx drivers & are sticking with the 18x.xxs until they're changed

but i dont think the 18x.xx drivers had ''ambient occlusion'' & a few other optimizations, while they're probably not major things im gonna sacrifice a drop in the frame-rate to keep em.

    :)

For the first time since I started using the 19x.xx drivers I finally have my temp monitor working again on EVGA Precision and on my desktop gadget and the 2D downclock seems to working properly and kicks in almost instantly when idle and there are no unusual spikes or erratic behavior.

Temps seem good and getting a WEI score of 7.3 for both Desktop and Gaming Graphics, not tested on 3D Mark Vantage yet to see if there are any improvements there but so far this driver has been the most promising.

There was one thing I also did differently this time as well, I decided to uninstall the old drivers first which is not something I normally do but I just felt like it seemed like a smart thing to do considering all the problems with the older drivers.

i bought myself acer aspire 5739g with nvidia geforce gt 240m, i installed windows 7 x64 yesterday, but i seem to have problems with my video driver, at the first, i was searching for hours till i found something i actually can install, after the installation it told me that the system is not modified , and you can run the installation later, then i mannualy rebooted the pc and it showed that i have the geforce gt240m adapter, but i dont think i have the full driver package, i dont get any nvidia control panels, the only thing i can change is my resolution wich is 1366x788 max.
i installed the new beta driver 199.55 , that is the only one i found atm, though i have downloaded 186.52 driver, with seems to be compatible with my video card, should i try to install it?

They seem fine. I just played some Batman Arkham Asylum maxed on everything and no issues.
They might run a couple of degrees hotter than the 195.39 but I'm not sure on that yet.
    Also. Evga precision runs perfectly!:)

    195.62 WHQL drivers out now.

    32-bit: NVIDIA DRIVERS 195.62 WHQL

    64-bit: NVIDIA DRIVERS 195.62 WHQL

Date's listed as 11/26. Probably the same as the "beta" drivers listed above but this is just in case.
