I installed Win7 RC 64-bit and I can't get the nVidia drivers to install for my 9600M GT card. I had a problem with Vista 64-bit as well, but was manually able to install them without a problem. In Win7, I keep getting an error message that no supported hardware was found. But when I run the widget on nVidia's website, it finds the card without a problem and recommends 186.03...but I can't install it By the way, this is in a Dell XPS One 24".
i had the same problem and solved it by manually editing the proper INF file. it worked for another member on here as well and he posted a very detailed description of the steps here:

I'm just ready to give up

we all have the exact same Dell A2420 with Windows 7 x64 and 9600M GT card.

you will notice i posted an update a couple posts down from the above link. the NVDM.INF file did not work out as well as i had hoped and i started having a minor but annoying issue so i modified and switched to the NVAM.INF file instead. you may not experience any issues depending on the software you have on your machine.

also, it is worth nothing that even though my machine is working almost flawlessly now, i had to tweak a couple things to get it working in tip-top shape. it seems that the display drivers have issues with some of the more advanced power management options, so the best setting is "Performance", not "Balanced", which is set by default. and turn off hibernate and sleep. when my computer goes to sleep, it is 50/50 on whether it will come back or not. sometimes it blue screens and sometimes it just hangs, so i just set it to never sleep. i still have the monitor turn off and the hard drives turn off which seems to work fine.

I have an issue even with the new beta drivers. When I am in dual monitor extend mode so I can scroll from one to the other, and then I launch Battlefield 2, I get into the game, start up a round and as soon as it joins the game.... BAM straight to the desktop, but it doesn't close automatically. I click on the the taskbar when it minimized to, but I get nothing. If I hit ctrl+alt+delete it automatically closes.

I have everything set at defaults, and this happens whether I am overclocked on the CPU or not. I am not overclocking the GPU. Also if I disable the 2nd monitor, it works fine. So I can play, but I have to do this monitor tango to get it to work. Any suggestions?

    Hi All

When you have installed the new 191.07 drivers, win7 updates will show new drivers for NVIDIA, stay clear they are the old drivers.
