The DirectX redist installation includes all the latest and previous released DirectX runtime. This includes D3DX, XInput, and Managed DirectX components.
The DirectX runtime cannot be uninstalled. We recommend Windows Me and Windows XP users create a "System Restore" point before installing. For information on creating a restore point, please refer to the following Microsoft Knowledge Base articles:

This update is recommended for users that do not have internet connection during installation

Ignore my ramblings above, having unpacked the update it contains updates (.CAB files) for DirectX 9, 10 and 11.

is this directx update ok for windows 7 64 ?

Yeah. It contains both x86 and x64 files.

Just download it, extract it, and run the DXSETUP.
