Connect only your 52" plasma via HDMI, then find an option in your tv to autotune or set it to its native resolution. Then, connect your other screen. Also, look for the desktop options and ensure your TV is listed/supported.

'He' being me? I think he has a name you know

What app are you using to watch your stuff with?

    One last idea:

Desktop and Displays > Select your TV display on the small screen at the bottom left > right-click and select configure

Select Enable GPU scaling and if your options are selectable (not greyed out), set it to Scale image to full panel size. If the options are greyed out and it's already selected... then

Otherwise fiddle with your TV's display options and look for something like a "fill" option.

Last weekend, whilst playing games I had several black or grey screen crashes. Installed the latest 10.2's and this weekend not a single black/grey screen.

    Hopefully.............

Still have to kill Explorer.exe for AoE otherwise some of the game colours are wrong
