I can't change my resolution from 800X600

I installed Windows 7 Ultimate 64 Bit edition.And after installing the new and the old nVidia drivers for Vista and Windows 7.I still can't change my resolution from 800X600 the option isn't available

My Specs are

MSI x58m Motherboard
Intel Core i7
Geforce 9800GT 1GB
3GB DDR 3
19 Inch pView LCD Monitor
950 Watt PSU

Possibly you don't have the correct 64bit driver.

Which one should I have, i've tried 9.3.2(driver cd for my graphics card),191.07 and 196.21.I'm also unable to change from 16 Bit

Just scroll down to the bottom of this topic, SevenForums will display a number of threaths with +/- the same problem. You could have a look there for starters. Otherwise, head over to the graphics card section and before you post, do a little search there, i'm sure you'll come up with plenty to read and try.

Check in device manager to see if your monitor/LCD is listed, or if it say PNP.
Sometime this happens when your monitor /LCD needs the driver installed for your LCd in order to get full use of it's native resolution. If you would provide the make and model number we can check and see if it has a driver avalible.

THX for all answer, but i have the Samsumg LCD 933NW and yes works perfectly with windows XP SP3 but with the 182.02 ver. driver only. I want install the latest version of my graphic card driver, for the Windows XP SP3, or better for my Windows 7 Ultimate Edition. Thomas242 what version have u installed?? tell me ok?, and where are u downloaded.

PD: Sorry for my english is very very bad.. i'm from Bolivia.

i'm tried with the latest driver for my samsung monitor 933nw but i can't resolve the problem, all is equal, i used the 258.96 nvidia driver, graphic card, please help!

is windows updated and have you got the l8test Motherboard drivers installed along with the driver for video card/s also try installing drivers in Admin mode and if its still not working then theres a good chance windows is corrupted in some way ( it happend on my OLD lan pc HDD 500gb after so many installs of Vista/7 of the years ) so try backing up all info and do a format and a reinastall of windows and then try it
