    Latitude d830 Quadro nvs 135m, and no Aero


    My prob is that Im a freakin Noobie. I have a latitude d830 and my display driver is a quadro nvs 135m and areo wont work. I tried the new beta from nvidia and nothing man..Damn,, this is frustrating as all hell..

    No, actually, your problem is that you are trying to perform what is called a *hijack* of a thread. Your problem has nothing to do with the problem being discussed in the thread, so we ask that you make a new thread instead of attaching to unrelated threads.

    Now then, as to your problem - some laptop manufacturers will only allow drivers from their own websites - meaning you cannot use nVidia drivers from nVidia, only from Dell. Get the latest Vista drivers for your laptop and video card and see if it helps.

    I found this one


    I did a win update with Win 7 build 7022 it downloaded Nvidia Quadro NVS 135M (prerealease WDDM 1.1) I installed it but still dont see that much of a difference.. Anyone have any suggestions?

    Yeah - Get the latest Vista driver from Dell (dated Jan 8, 2009) and try that....

    Also, that card may simply not be able to do so - especially if it is the 128 MB version of the card made by nVidia, and depending upon how much RAM you have installed in your system....

    Go to Dell's website, and ther the service tag and it will tell you the gen information of the card. I then did a search for the card name at nvidia.com an saw it was a card that shipped with 128 / 256 MB of RAM....

    Dear all
    I install the Nvidia Quadro NVS 140M in windows7 x64, but my system crash when I load 3d images, before I install it , 3d images can be loaded easily but OpenGL can not be used.
    I download the driver from dell site, it is for Windows vista x64 but it install on Windows7 without any error.
    please help me how can I fix this problem?
