I would add that when deciding on a power supply, too much is better that just enough. A PSU that doesn't have to work very hard is going to last longer and generate less heat than one that is operating closer to its capacity. Generally I add 50% to the recommendation.

I have several of the HD5770 cards and this one is really nice and runs considerably cooler than most of them.

Here is a review we have published recently on it.

I agree totally with this, your power supply is the core of your system. I would also Like to add a quality power supply. You need check it's efficiency rating and the most important thing Amps on the 12v rail(s) I would suggest a minimum of 28A. You my also want to consider if it can also handle another video card just in case you might consider crossfire at a later date. I would suggest Antec,Corsair and of course OCZ which I use. Most of their models have a 80% or higher efficiency rating. Fro a 5770 they recommend a minimum of 450 w for 1 card and 600 for xfire I would (personally buy) somewhere between a 650 and 750 w supply, of course pending on the above aforementioned. Also remember to take into consideration all other fans and peripherals it will be required to power. Hope this will help. Fabe
