    NVIDIA 9800 GT and MSI 945GM5 - 640x480 in 16 colors

I have Windows 7. Graphics card NVIDIA 9800 GT and MSI mainboard 945GM5. Maximal resolution is 640x480 in 16 colors. When I disable a PCI bus controller - resolution and color are normal, but the hardware acceleration is disabled. How can I fix it?

PS: I am using 196.21 driver for NVIDIA.

    jezevec10, welcome to the forums.

Start with installing/updating the chipset driver,

    INF Update Utility - Primarily for Intel® 5, 4, 3, 900 Series Chipsets

Also make sure that the onboard video is disabled, had a look in the manual for your board and didn't see a setting for it so if it still shows up in Device Manager, disable it from there. Also go into the bios and make sure the following setting,

is set to [PCI-E-PCI] and not the other way around.

    It still does not work.

Thank you for your answer, but it still does not work. When I disable
    Intel (R) 945G/GZ/GC/P/PL PCI Express Root Port - 2771
    Rresolution and color are normal.
the information about the video card is written:
"This facility did not find enough resources that could be used. (Code 12)
To use the device, you will need to disable some other devices in the system. "

I have already updated the drivers from your link but it's still the same.

I'm not sure where you're getting your motherboard chipset drivers from because I cnnot find a board with the model number 945PM5.

Please download CPU-Z and tell us what it says on the mainboard/motherboard tab.
    CPUID

If it's an intel board it should be D945xxx if it's an msi, I don't know.

Also, you motherboard may not look the say, but make sure you've got your graphics card plugged into the correct slot... It needs a PCIe 2.0 x16.
