Ever get a response on this? I've got the exact same problem with a pair of 5870s and I can't for the life of me find anything else useful on this error.

why don't you try the new 11.6 drivers

That is probally the problem since those drivers been out they improved them alot more

Just cause you have a 5870 dont mean you cant use the latest drivers personally that is probally the issue ATI Radeon
It has improved crossfire support as well so it should work if not i would look into seeing if the cards are bricking

By the way unless your card is out of date useing vista drivers or legacy drivers would do more damage then good i would think just throwing that out there

I have those drivers installed. Installed the newest drivers from ATI at the time of installation, and put the 11.6 on when they were released. No change in performance. I think you're looking at the old post data. This is just the only thread I've found so far with identical symptoms.

Any game run in full screen has these green oscillating bars. If I switch to windowed mode, it stops. If I stay full screen but disable Crossfire, it stops. It never occurs on the desktop or anywhere but a full screen game.

sounds like one of your cards are quiting during xfire the best way to find out is to test each one

Im sure it wont be hard to find especially playing out of windowed mode it occurs

After finding out which one has gone bad RMA it and get a new you do have a 3 warrenty atleast im assuming with the card maker
