in terms of your existing set-up, that's a difficult question to answer as it depends on a number of variables..

sure, it's a decent card, especially when compared to your existing FX5200, but you'd need to get a more powerful PSU - as your current 300w model won't cope with the extra load..

it also requires PCiE, and without full details of your motherboard, it's hard to tell if it is a suitable replacement..

From the specs in you'r specs sub of you'r account I can already tell that you can't buy this card.

    1. The whole rest of you'r system is way too low to keep up with the graphic card.
    2. You'r power supply is way too low
    3. By you'r current videocard wich is AGP I can tell that you'r motherboard doesn't contain a PCIe x16 slot so you won't be able to use a PCIe x16 graphic card

He wouldn't necessarily need a new PSU. I have a 285 watt with that card in another desktop and it works fine. My rails on PSU are what they should be.

But you're computer might be too slow, the card would most likely work if your mboard has pci express x16, but it isn't worth the money to buy that card if your system isn't fast enough to do anything with it

The reason I am asking is because I don't want to buy one after 2 years so I want to buy the right one now and that is the only descend card I could fine on site for my money budget.

Welcome to Seven Forums Core7: As long as your 'New' system meets the power requirements of the card I think you should enjoy the card, since it also meets your budget. Your obviously not located in the U.S. i'm certian you are limited in choices so this is a good one for you. IMO Fabe

Yes, I am from SA, if I had more money at this moment I would have bought the most expensive card there is. I think that card should do it. Otherwise you can sponsor me? :)

I'm a bit concerned about your PSU.

Club 3D recommends a 550W supply with 24A at +12V. (That's a rather cheap 550W supply: there are good PSUs at 400W that are rated at 30A at +12V.)

Your fallback would be the GT240, which uses no auxiliary power. (It's a significantly less powerful card, of course.)

If you're trying to improve gaming performance, I'm not sure that either is a good investment.
