Windows 7 - Radeon CCC Problems

Have got myself one of the Acer Aspire 7535g`s. Like it a lot more now that I`ve got the HD4570 working under windows 7 but now have no Catalyst Control Suite although when I try to fix or reinstall it I`m told that it is still all there. Help! How do I rid myself of the remainders so that I can put it back without losing the HD4570 again? I`ve Revo unistalled and CCleaned it but it still persists in telling me that it is alll there. Thanks for the help and advice to get this far tho. It`s been really really useful.

Did you get the Laptop drivers from Acer. Normal Cat drivers don't install properly on Laptops. The Acer Cat drivers are custom built for specific Laptops. What has probably happened is that Windows Update has downloaded a driver and the Cat drivers you tried to install has only installed the Control Centre. That is why Windows keeps reminding you about an unsupported driver in CCC.

Yes it`s a laptop and I did get it from Acer and the actual hardware is working fine but before my problems when I right clicked on the desktop I could access the CCC and ATI edit progs. Now All I get is the Screen res option. I`ve tried using the Windows 7 upgrade disk supplied from Acer to reinstall CCC and AtI suites but am told that it already exists. Thanks for the info tho.
