Windows 7 - My Resolution is wrong

| | My Resolution is wrong Hello, i just upgraded to Windows 7 and I'm having a problem setting my resolution. On Vista my resolution was 1280 by 800 yet, on Windows 7 it will only allow me to have 1024 by 786. By the way I installed the new Graphics Driver . These are my specs: HP Pavilion dv6736nr Entertainment Notebook PC Processor: AMD Turion 64 X2 Moblie Technoligy TL-60 2.00 Ghz RAM: 2 GB System typr: 32bit Graphics Card: Standard VGA Graphics Adapter (although before i installed Windows 7 I remeber it was call Nvidia with numbers after it. Could this mean that i didnt install the graphics card. Because i dont know how to do that.) Well i can watch videos so i know its working. Also sorry if i posted this in the wrong place and also sorry for not being so computer smart. Thanks in advance! |

| Vista and Windows7, sometimes Ubuntu and Fedora | Hmm, can you set it to 1366x768 which is the recommended setting for a 15" screen of Windows7 - (I assume yours is a 15" since it is a notebook). |
