    "Intel 82865G Graphics Controller" doesn't work ??

I'm running Windows 7 Ultimate (Build 7000) on an lenovo pc (Intel Pentium 4 - 2.8GHz, 2.00 GB RAM). my pc's actual graphics card is "Intel 82865G Graphics Controller" but windows 7 loads it as "standard VGA graphics card" which gives me a very very bad video quality but computer works great. HOWEVER,when i update video graphics back to my "Intel 82865G Graphics Controller" & play any video, the video quality is excellent & direct 3d & hardware acceleration starts working contrary to "standard VGA graphics card" but gives major computer operation problems. For e.g., As soon as i resize my VLC interface or run any other media players (like powerdvd or windows media players etc), the computer either gets stuck/hung or it shows a blue screen message saying "disable bios memory such as caching or shadowing" OR "page_fault_in_nonpaged_area" & lots of other explorer based problems.i tried changing various 3d settings in opengl as well, but in vain.

CAN YOU PLEASE HELP ME WITH THIS??

ITS A MAJOR BUG in WINDOWS 7.

I MEAN U CANNOT ASK SOMEONE TO UPGRADE his OPERATING SYSTEM AT THE EXPENSE OF CHANGING HIS HARDWARES.

    THANK YOU.

It is a driver issue. I suggest that you download the driver from HP website, remove the existed driver and install the new downloaded driver.

Same problem on my Mothers Dimension 3000. Download the OEM pack and make sure to install it under XP compatibility. It will install and report correctly. Btw, no luck on Aero either way.
