Windows 7: Nvidia 9800GT

When i am playing games, am i best having my Nvida 9800GT 1G's power management setting at adaptive or prefer maximum performance? What shall give the better performance?

hm... usually the one that is the least power saving gives the best performance

Adaptive power keep the card cooler.

But most of the time of your usage I would suggest putting to maximum performance. This function introduced by nvidia does not save energy that much. You may end up saing like 12$ a year of electricity if you use your card 12 hours a day, depending of course, how costly is the electricity where you lives. (Right here it's the lowest cost in North America so for me does not make a big difference)

I kind of discovered this my self yesterday, just use it when i play games and then put it back to normal afterwards etc.
