    Radeon HD5870 HDMI/Audio questions


    Hey there guys, my card has an HDMI slot, and I've read that it needs some sort of connector for sound? It didn't come with that or a slot on the card for any wire, but windows does detect it as a ATI DP Output, so I should be able to plug in something with HDMI and get sound from it too correct?

    Also... Can the HDMI out work as an HDMI in? Is there something I can use/get that would let this happen? Thanks

    ok yes you should be able to get sound from it, and i've never seen any card that has a hdmi in but i could be wrong
