Can anyone identify this card?

I ran across this card doing an older Frankenbuild, but I cant sem to find any info on it, other than it is made by XGI. The only other indicators on it are XB-17. Its a PCI-e card, but it doesnt seem to want to mount properly in the boards PCI-e x16. Its about 2 goldfingers too long to slide into place. I'm thinking thats due to mobo placement in relation to the rear bays possibly?? That and it would be nice to check its stats and compatability.
Anyone?

I'm pretty sure it's a AGP 8x Volari V8 128MB Video Card with VGA, TV-Out & DVI

XGI Tech PV8RL04 V8 128MB AGP Retail

The PCB is the same and so are the capacitor layouts.

But it's definitely and AGP card in the Volari range.

Alrighty then...Do I get to wear the dunce cap now?
So I guess the next question would be was it a decent enough AGP card to utilize in older builds? Or is it excess junk?

There's no such thing as a stupid question. Especially when it comes to hardware, there's so much of it out there.

Only if you find it comfortable It's optional

It should be fine for older builds, but you'll have driver problems with any MS OS above XP.

If you have a AGP mobo in your box of tricks and enough parts lying around to cobble together a machine, you could always build a XP or Linux based rig.
