    BFG 8800GTS OC 512MB-26" Monitor?

Just a quick question. Does anyone know how a BFG 8800GTS OC 512MB would perform on a 26" or 27" monitor- movies, tv, some FPS gaming, general browsing?

    Thanks, John:)

Thanks for responding. Not that much really I suppose.
It's going with my old pc into the bedroom so I'll mainly be watching movies and (when the DVB-T2 tuners arrive) watching HDTV. Plus some general browsing, forums etc, using the magnifier.

I have a neat trackball wireless keyboard so I could game, but I'll be in bed about 8 feet away so in reality I'll probably not bother.
I can always come in the lounge and play on my "new" one:)

I was going to go for something top quality like a 23" NEC IPS panel but then I thought about the GPU and whether this would be a waste of money when most likely I'm just gonna check my emails in the morning and watch TV and movies late at night anyway.

This made me think about size

hmmm it should be good enough for that as long as your not doing any heavy gaming

^ What he said. Everything will be fine except for gaming... that is unless you want to play Pong, in which case you will rock! :)

    Thanks for responding guys:)

It's a tough choice; a 26" IIyama looks nice but now the Samsung F2380 (with cPVA panel!) has caught my eye and it's a very good price.
Also I'm still tempted by the lovely NEC Multisync EA231WMi with it's IPS panel.
Maybe that's overkill in a bedroom situation

PS I can imagine the pc concerned will get my 260GTX when I upgrade to a FERMI chip in my main rig.
