Display settings "display" dropdown options

Hi,

Just installed 7 Pro x64 and it seems to me that previously on XP, when you go to your control panel and display settings, in the display dropdown there was an option for your monitor and another for the graphics card. However with 7, I only see the option for the monitor. Is this normal?

thanks

Small correction: what I see in XP in the display options is a default card driver and then the actual video card driver. In 7, I only see the monitor name as an option. Is this just the way 7 works? I'm not sure the graphics are as they should be. They seem a little choppier than what I expected.

How can I be sure the video driver is being used?

Thanks

They're in a different place. Right Click Desktop - Screen Resolution - Advanced. Is this the page you are looking for. Install the latest graphics drivers and that should give you some more options.

I guess. Just thought it there may have been some issue with the graphics card driver.

Thanks
