    Weird Graphics error.

I've gotten this error twice so far. My screen will stay as it is but it will have pink or purple rectangles of all shapes and sizes all over my screen. I can not move my mouse or do anything during this. When it happens again I will post a picture.

Also, I dont know if this belongs here or not.... When I was using WinXP and I played Call Of Duty World at war I would get around 240-250+ FPS and now I am getting just around 100 all my settings are on the highest like they were with no AA.

    I have a 250GTS EVGA Superclocked.

It sounds like it - or at the very least it runs into errors. Which driver are you using for the 250?

No. Try grabbing eVGA's Precision and increasing the fan speed to around 60-70 % - your SSC is probably running some high temps and you may not have adequate airflow into the case to keep it cool enough....

No, that is not the problem... This only happened with Win7.. With my XP it works perfect and only gets to 55c-58c under load.

Right now idle my GPU is running at 33c

Sorry I was a bit tired all day yesterday.. Looking back at it yes that is very low for a GPU but this is what everest is reading me.. I even got a simmar reading when I had XP installed on the PC.

MY XP idle temp was 33-36c

my Windows7 idle is like 29c-35c

I know that this is really low but keep in mind that the 250 is a 9800GTX with a G92 cooler..

I also have a Scythe 66.37 CMF fan blowing on the card
