Card to play Counter-Strike Source? HELP

Installed Windows 7, now I need a different video card so I can play CSS.

Windows 7 64bit. PCI connection.

Any ideas. If not, then I will probably just reinstall XP so I can use my Radeon 9250 256MB PCI card.

Thanks in advance.

Some have gotten the 9250 to work on Windows 7 using XP drivers. The 6.14.10.6606 version has been recommended, but you may have to go to the torrents to find it.

Otherwise, at www.newegg.com, the cheapest DX9 card uses an nVidia 5200 chipset. The 8400GS is a bit more ($40), but it's DX10 and perhaps with better performance.

Maybe staying with XP would be your best choice, though.

I can run CSS on an IGP. Get ANY gfx card. But I recommend a radeon 4850, for the budget gamer who wants kick ass gfx power.

Its actually gone down over 10 bucks since I bought mine. I like sapphire personally because their stock fan is good and the card covers the 3 major monitor ports.

opps, i thought it said pcie. Anyway, css is more cpu heavy, so you could run it on something as old as an intel 950GMA. I ran it on my netbook.
