If you get a 600W PSU, you could opt for a newer card from the HD 4000 or 5000 series.

    Hi, xXINSANELOSERXx !

    This might help:

    Radeon™ X1600 Series - ATI Products

    Specifically:

350-Watt power supply or greater recommended (assumes fully loaded system)

Nah dude! If you try, there will be stability issues.

I think it will be better if you atleast buy a new PSU with a new graphics card.

Make sure you spend more on the PSU as it will only be helpful to you in the long run.

As for grphics card, you are currently limited because of your archaic motherboard.

If you manage to upgrade it to one having PCI-E slot, then I would suggest you to go for ATI Radeon HD 5670 as it is an awesome card and not that power hungry too! Just requires a 300 W PSU!

Of course its only meant for those who would be playing at lower resolutions like 720p with medium to high settings.
