Nobody could be stupid enough to fall for that. No matter how good or how few of these there are they arent worth $950,850.

Its obviously a marketing ploy to hype the card.

    I will stick with Nvidia.

I don't mind a viral campaign to promote a card, but doing something like "One has been stolen, contact us with information", then 2 minutes late the card is found on ebay...

Something is going on cause when I posted, I have it being watched on my page and it was up to what I posted. But then bids can be retracted up to the last 12 hours. Still in this economy who would buy a video card instead of a house? Crazy times we live in. The lamest thread i ever started has the most repies??? Fabe

Well the new user with 0 feedback pushed it from $1,600 to $10,000, then straight from there to $500,000

I can't see most of them more expensive bids being legitimate. Like you said, who would spend that much on a graphic card?

Yes we know the email was a viral marketing plan. The strangest thing now is the card on ebay has been taken down once "because it was listed by a member with 0 listings". Now it has been moved to " a friends more reputable account" Only the amount of bids and the price of the card continues to change. When I posted above it was 999.999.99 with 41 bids now it's got 18 bids at $10.100.00 So it would seem they are still using this as an advertising and marketing gimmick. If you got their original email and reported the card to the address on the email as being on ebay, you were automatically entered into a contest to win 1 of these cards. The winner will be announced on facebooks XFXGirl. Fabe

So, how are these cards different than my XFX Radeon HD 5970 Black Edition.....?...

EDIT: Never mind, I looked it up. I didn't realize the extra design details....eh, I may possibly have considered it...I just don't know. It's a bit much for my needs, hell what I have is, but it was actually necessary for some things I do.
