Aero not working? No way to force it.

Ok, I may be new but I have been seeing stackloads of posts and threads about force enabling aero. Well the problem with that is that you need to have the minimum requirments, or at least close to them, other than that, there's no way you can force enable aero. The registry hack may work but thats a 10% chance depending on your specifications and system.

Just needed to point that out to people who are getting puzzled. I actually do thing the GFX requirments could have been shortened, cause it worked when I had vista but not with Windows 7.

If you're computer cannot handle Aero, there is no way to force it, period.

Get new hardware if it means that much to you.

To what degree did a Geforce4 MX440 "work" in Aero Glass effects under Vista? It's basically a DX7 card.

he meant lowering the requirement for aero to work:)

as lord bob mentions the only way is to upgrade your hardware, but you can pick a gfx card that can run aero very well for less than 30 quid if you look in the right places.
