    Using two seperate audio sources

I am trying to run audio on my pc and tv at the same time however I can only get one to work. Is there any way to get audio running to both the speakers and the tv simultaneously

Hook them up to the same output using a jack or something.

Other than that, I cannot think of anything except having a sound card as well.

hmmm maybe I did not fully explain. The audio is going through hdmi to my tv. I have my speakers conected to the onboard sound card. In the sound settings it will only let me have one default source and I must switch sources to get the audio on computer then must switch the default again to get sound on the tv

You should be able to disable the audio on the HDMI out of the PC and use the onboard 3.5mm mini jack on the PC with a splitter, but your TV will need to be able to assign the analog sound you are sending over the analog cable to the HDMI input.

Model of the TV would help to determine if you can assign audio inputs to HDMI inputs.

I do it using an A/V processing device that is fed from the sound card and also feeds the Audio Out to the speakers and the second Audio Out goes to my Vizio's Audio In. I also have the headphone Audio coming from the Pioneer Wireless Deck so we can use the Surround Sound while watching a movie or I can use the headphones and control my own volume, turn off Surround Sound and keep the TV volume on the remote control for my wife.
