Should I get a new Graphics Card?

Hey all,

I'm tempted to get a new graphics card. I bought the Computer off of my little brother, and he built it for gaming. The only thing I play is COD, and the graphics seem fine for that. The computer currently has a Nvidia 8600gt graphics card.

However, I do watch A LOT of movies and tv shows on the computer. The quality of watching DVD's isn't the greatest though. Eventually I would like to get a Blueray drive for the computer, so I don't think it would hurt to upgrade the graphics card right now.

What do you guys suggest getting? I was looking into the ATI HD4000 Series, but noticed I would need a display capable of 1080p. I just got dual Samsung Syncmaster 205bw's, so upgrading my display is out of the question if I'll need displays capable of 1080p to utilize the graphics card.

So what do you guys think I should look into getting?

Budget - Not really sure right now, I'd like to stay around $150 I think. But that's not set in stone.

Specs - I'm not entirely sure on everything, because I bought the computer from my little bro, but here's what I know it has -

ASRock 775 Dual VSTA motherboard, 1.83 (I think) ghz, 2 gigs ram, and the rest I would have to ask him. After I figured out a graphics card I was going to run it by him to make sure it'll work.

I'll check out the 4850 too.

5750 is a nice option as well, about the same performance and lower power requirements.
Runs Cooler too.

The only disadvantage to the 4K series is they do not support DX11.

If DX11 support is extremely important to you, you will be disappointed with it.

Beyond that, the 4000 series are excellent cards and can run any game out atm very well at higher settings.

IMHO, the 4870/90s are a excellent choice as theres not much out atm that uses DX11 anyway.
