    We on FIAH



    And this is doing nothing at all, but using the internet and running an emulator for pokemon yellow.
    Doing nothing at all = 153 degrees.

    I would suggest making sure the fan is spinning correctly and that the heatsink isn't clogged with dust bunnies. You can use canned air to blow your card out. Make sure your system is off and you don't spin the fan up to high as it can damage some fans.173f is only 78.3c Which is high but not critical. You should be able to control the fan speed through CCC, Or a third party app Riva Tuner to increase the fan speed to help lower the temps.
