    Yeah, that was me. :)

I'm going to go way out on a limb and suggest the voltage isn't set correctly. 1.8 isn't a typical default voltage setting for DDR3; add to that the RAM isn't running at its rated speed of 1333MHz (which isn't a problem, I only say that to suggest that voltage is probably off).

I was reading the QVL for the Asus board in question and it does appear that the memory from OCZ is actually on the listing however, for the same 4 gig kit with the same timings you are showing 7-7-7-20 it comes in 2 flavors 1.8 volt and 1.95 volt.
(see attached) unless I am miss reading which is always possible...

What voltage would you recommend? I'm not even sure if I can walk her through changing that. Even I got a little lost at first and I don't remember the layout of it all.

And thanks for the image, rev. Wonder why it was said they didn't recommend it at first?

She's really starting to get annoyed with the computer too since before she could at least play a Steam game without it crashing or messing up at all but now she can't even make it through a map in Left 4 Dead. The fact that it's deteriorating makes me think one of the components is dying. If it were the RAM voltage being wrong then wouldn't it just keep having the same issues in the same way rather than getting worse? Unless the RAM can kill something that way.
