Also, I am too young for MS to hire me (or I was when I started on this forum). I like Windows, yes, but I don't support EVERYTHING MS does.

I'm with you there. I'm old enough to work for them a few times over, but it's the last place you'd ever catch me at. unless it was for a tour that promised free copies of Windows, Office, Visual Studio 2010, etc...

I like most of the software they make, but they do some goofy things now and then. Vista, anyone?

Thanks for everyones responses,,, like I mentioned earlier, I dropped it off at Fry's,, waiting to hear from them on what they find.., Before I dropped it off, I had replaced everything other than the processor, maybe I should have tried that also.. 2 video cards, 2 sets of matched of matched 8 gig of ram, a second motherboard, different hard drives for C drive, I even bought a second Win 7 64X, nothing,, zero, notta, zilch.... a little frustrating,, thats all..

Did you ever get the problem sorted?

    Have a similar situation.
With my problem, the video card (5670) worked fine for a couple of weeks then blank screen and monitor turns off with a "no signal" message right in the middle of Crysis starting up. Had me stumped as worked fine previously. Re-seated the card - nothing. Pulled the card out and used onboard video which sucked for gaming. Thought I'd try again a few days later and wham - up an running again. 5 days later (today) right in the middle of browsing email and typing doc, same thing. Blank screen with "no signal" message had to force shutdown and take out card to get the onboard video going again. Running the latest Catalyst driver and system up to date with the latest Bios Flash also (well about a month old)
    Cheers
