Windows 7 - video playback / driver problem

hi i need a bit of help i have installed Windows 7 32 bit but when i do a computer rateing it keep failing saying video playback problem i have the nivida 197 geforce driver installed and have also tried the 186 driver also framerates and game play almost at a stand still please help!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

hi bakes1,welcome to the forums , you have'nt by chance set the motherboard jumpers to sli have you?

dont think so i recently had the bios flashed due to the computer not starting up then done a new install of Windows 7

did you flash the bios yourself? are there any other probs apart from the graphics?

no a computer guy did it for me also the sound when you play games is distorted and braking up i did the install myself !

sorry for late reply bakes1, i must have missed this post , reinstall the graphics and the sound drivers under compatibility mode Compatibility Mode one of the 2 drivers is causing a conflict

still not working have installed beta driver 256 same as before sound distored and cracking up when loading up a game then framerates so slow do anybody have any more possible ideas thanks.
