Did you get the Feb. 2010 redist that updates all versions of DX?

Download details: DirectX Redist (February 2010)
The DX install will seem instantaneous if you're installing the same, (or older) version that's already on there. DX checks and says.... don't bother, poof!

hmmm...

I just re-ran the Feb. installer. The last time I ran it was after replacing my video card, just a few months ago. It took a bit to detect, and it replaced a few files along the way... roughly 20 seconds.

I then re-ran the setup, but it was not instantaneous. It did not see that I had just now installed all the files it needed. It installed the files anyway. Again, another 20 seconds.
