Any software to record gpu temp while being in-game?

hey everyone, i was wondering if theres any software that consumes low resources and records various temperatures of gpu under full load playing games and saves them as a text file? cus i dont feel like alt + tab to switch back to windows mode and then open ati control panel to check my temp.. moreover that would be kind of inaccurate.. thanks

Download GPU-Z, you don't have to install anything, it just runs from the exe. Open GPU-Z, click on the Sensors tab, and put a check in Log To File, and Continue to refresh this screen while GPU-Z is in the background. Not sure if Fraps has these abilities.

I think evga precision will display temps and fps on your screen as you game. The reason I say think is because I've never tried displaying precision on screen as I have it displayed on keyboard LCD panel.

It does display various elements of your GPU though.

I believe the EVGA Precision will work on your card as well. So if GPU-Z doesn't do what you want, that's sounds like an option. A Guy

ati tray tools has a good monitor graphing function.

while you play it can keep track of lots of info, shown below.

there's also an 'osd' function - on screen display, where you can have the numbers show up in the top right of screen in-game.

lots of other wonderful features too - overclocking, customised game profiles, tweaking etc.

oh, it's free too! :) (but only works with ati cards.)
