Try reverting to the WDDM 1.1 drivers.

Uninstall the nvidia drivers & reboot windows will revert to WDDM 1.1 drivers, if for any reason it does not then run WINDOWS UPDATE from control panel it should download the latest drivers.

You card might be freaking out b/c it is not meant for WDDM use...especially with it being a mobile.

I am assuming that all effects and such are turned off (and that you are using or trying to use the classic theme)?

I am using the Standard 7 Theme. i like the Aero lol
I am uploading another screenshot.. this was after uninstalling the driver and letting windows update install a driver...

I set it to Windows Classic Theme and changed the color :P I hate the standard Gray :P

I have been getting the same problem with all builds of Windows 7 and all versions of nvidia drivers. The latest drivers (185.85) is the worst. I have a 9400 GT graphics card. I have reverted back to 181.72.

I really hope this is fixed soon It's the biggest problem I have with Windows 7.
