Why would you want to underclock your graphics card. It isnt like there is a huge heat issue.

I'd look into power saving solutions since saving power means that you basically underclock your rig.

I think you can change you're graphic card clock with rivatuner. I know that works for Nvidia and ATI (with ATI you can do it in catalist control center) but with intel I don't know.

NoN: The link says no results.

Zigzag: I'm having a timeout issue with "driver has stopped responding and recovered" and I've seen underclocking as a solution so I'm attempting that.

Arkhi: I'll look into that.

Magere: It unfortunately didn't work.

The top result is this...Bill, I've been linked those pages countless times now. I don't have a NVIDIA card. At this point, I think asking on this forum leads to more questions than answers, kinda useless, I give up.

Underclocking Intel i5 750
I have an Intel i5 750 CPU running on Gigabyte P55A-UD3R mainboard on my system. The weather is very hot here, I don't need much CPU speed these days and CPU fan was making too much noise. So I underclocked my CPU by decreasing its multiplier from 133 x 20 = 2.66 GHz to 133 x 9 = 1.20 GHz. ...
