ATI HD5850 Temperatures? What Is Considered "High"?

    I also chose to have it start up with W7...any other settings I should (or shouldn't) change?
    that should pretty much cover it. Also make sure to read all the tool tip popups when you mouse over them to see what everything does.

    I don't use Afterburner myself but there are some here that do so any questions about overclocking or other features with it, they should be able to answer. Also a good place to get help with it is the Afterburner official forum,

    As an after thought read this... Lowered GPU temps by 6 degrees!

    Incidentally your temps are pretty good for that card. My 4890 idles around 62c now that I've applied the Artic Silver; before that it was around 67c.
