gt220 vs ati hd 5450

i m undecided about using an gt220 or an ati hd 5450 on a board asus m4a78-em, with an amd cpu phenom II 955, 3.2. with 6gb ddr2.
both graphics are 1gb ddr3.
which one is better?

According to reputable reviews available online, you'd be better off with the GT 220 from NVIDIA; better specs and performance numbers.

The GT220 is considerably higher rated. Yes, it will be fully compatible.

For a few dollars more, you can get the GT240 if you are in U.S.
