I cannot get 1680x1050 with ATI 5470 Radeon - DELL Studio 1558

    When you connect the external monitor is it actually running off the 5470? Or is it running off the integrated Intel graphics? And yes as explained before that laptop does have both.

    I'm uncertain by what you mean by "and nothing" in post #16. Did you not find the driver? Did your service tag not work? Or did the install fail? depending on which, I should be able to download the driver from Dell, then upload it to this website, and then you can download it from here. If you don't have the drivers installed, you definitely going to have issues.

    Hi friend,

    I am not sure if I took your point ,sorry
    when I choose "send video to projector" and I am working just with projector, I still can go to ATI center but still max 1600x1200 .
    Also , I tested in my girlfriend laptop, windows 7 sony vaio (simple) and gets more than 2000... so definitely is something with the driver ..

    I found the driver, in AMD site and ATI ( and Dell via TAG ) but all of them are the same... not 1680x1050 ..
