resolution problem after installation of windows 7

I've updated the bios settings to 1.45.
And i've downloaded and installed the Nvidia driver from the acer website vers.:8.16.11.8926

Still nothing happend.

You have to uninstall it and reboot - then apply the Acer driver.

I've uninstalled the Nvidia driver.
And installed standard VGA driver. And with the standard VGA driver the laptop doesn't give a failure code. The stadard driver works correct as you can see on the attachment tumbnails. But still I can't change the resolution or the colors. It says that the total graphic memory is 14 mb.
Thats not normal.

That would right for the standard VGA driver.

You need to install the Windows 7 drivers from Acer.

I installed the acer driver Nvidia 8.16.11.8926. But i didn't help.

It is strange that I can't change the resolution with the standard VGA driver.

It is soulding like your card is fried.

I'm going to install windows 7 again. Maybe it helps..

How do you see when the card is fried?
