    do i need upgrade


    i using a gts 250 1gb o/c bfg card!Do i need to upgrade to the new nvidia cards 480 i think!The gts is playing all my games uperblly!but am i missing out!

    no , just make a new one out of loads of old ones , and post up pics ,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,

    I'll take that GTS 250 off your hands if ya do

    Looking at your specs, you'll need a bigger PSU if you do get a 480. Also not sure if your Q6600 & 800Mhz would bottle neck a 480. Plus your monitor has a max of 1440x900 res, an 480 would be overkill on such small-ish res.

    Ah, what exactly is an uperblly? - Do you mean superbly, or very well?

    You'd definitely need a bigger and better quality PSU.

    As Joshatdot mentioned, at that resolution - a 480 is massive overkill.

    If you want to get a DX11 nvidia card - the new gtx 460 1GB should be perfect for your needs.

    460 looks to be what i may go for ill check it out and see if the price is fair after shopping around the web foro ne!is a 460 as good as the 80?im not really looking for a bigger psu if i can help it

    q6600 at 3.2 ghz on water cooling bottleneck a 480 really!fast cpu man?
