Help with my CSR Bluetooth Radio

    Hello..

I recently bought a bluetooth dongle through e-bay (it's this by the way, in case anyone else has also bought it: Tiny USB 2.0 Bluetooth V2.0 EDR Dongle Wireless Adapter on eBay (end time 26-Aug-10 09:48:22 BST) )

It says it's plug n play. I tried installing it to my pc with Windows 7 Ultimate 64-bit, it seemed to install fine. I tried to add my phone (Sony Ericsson w910i), and as soon as it started installing devices, it installed:
    - MyPhone(Remote Control)
    - HID-compliant consumer control device
    - HID-compliant device
    - HID-compliant device
    - Standard Modem over Bluetooth link

BUT I also get 3 "Bluetooth Peripheral Device" devices, that do not install correctly. It seems like windows update can't find any drivers and I cannot connect to my phone with MyPhoneExplorer, nor can I send/receive files.. Can you help me? Is there any chance that this bluetooth doesn't work with Windows 7 64-bit?

Additional info about my dongle I found through Everest:
    Device Description: CSR Bluetooth Radio
    Device ID: 0A12-0001
    Device Class: E0/01 (Bluetooth)
    Device Protocol: 01

, while in the "Microsoft Bluetooth Enumerator" it says:
    - Driver Date: 21/6/2006
    - Driver Version: 6.1.7600.16385
    - INF File: bth.inf
    - Hardware ID: BTH\MS_BTHBRB

PS. I tried the dongle with my secondary pc which uses Windows XP and I was able to install my mobile phone succesfully. I also managed to connect with MyPhoneExplorer

That statement right there tells me it's not compatible with 7 64-bit, have you tried it on 7 32-bit?

No, but I was wondering if I could download some extra drivers or something for it to work with Windows 7 64-bit too..

The dongle itself seems to install succesfully. The problem comes up when I try to connect my mobile phone..

Go to the manufacturer's website and look for Windows 7 64-bit drivers, or google it

It was in bulk packing, so I'm not 100% sure about the company or the model.. Although when I load Everest, I see "CSR Bluetooth Radio" listed..

Hmmm.. Although I'm not sure about that, cause in my secondary pc I installed it too, and there it used a generic bluetooth radio

gkscorpio, did you get your CSR Bluetooth Radio to work? I bought the exact same one from ebay and I am having the exact same issue.
