Anyone wanna help me pick a netbook? This is just gonna be a secondary computer for when I need it on the go, so I'm not looking to spend a lot. My budget is in the $250ish range.
Here's what I've been considering so far: Gateway LT2032u LU.WCR0D.005 Netbook - Intel Atom N270 1.6GHz, 1GB DDR2, 250GB HDD, 10.1 WSVGA, Windows 7 Starter, Black at TigerDirect.com Samsung NP-N130-JA01US Refurbished Netbook - Intel Atom N270 1.6GHz, 1GB DDR2, 160GB HDD, 10.1 WSVGA, Windows 7 Starter at TigerDirect.com Hannspree HannsBook SN10E22BU3221 Netbook - Intel Atom N450 1.66GHz, 1GB DDR2, 250GB HDD, 10 WSVGA, 6-Cell, Windows 7 Starter, Black at TigerDirect.com
So far, I'm leaning towards the Hannspree. What do you guys think? If you have any recommendations, post 'em! Thanks! | My System Specs |

The best netbooks I've seen are Eee PCs. My brother and a good friend both have one and their really nice. Neither have had a problem. What's the main difference between those and the Hannspree? Both seem to have the newer N450 processor and most, if not all, specs match up. | My System Specs | | System Manufacturer/Model Number Custom Built OS Windows 7 Ultimate 64 bit (6.1, Build 7601) Service Pack 1 CPU Intel Core 2 Quad CPU Q8200 @ 2.33GHz Motherboard Gigabyte Technology/G31M-ES2L Memory 4GB (2xCorsair XMS2 Xtreme Performance DDR2 CM2X2048-6400C5) Graphics Card NVIDIA BFG GeForce GTX 260 - Driver Version 306.97 Sound Card High Definition Audio Device - Logitech Z623 Monitor(s) Displays Overlord Tempest X270OC 27" Dual-link DVI | Acer H243H 24" Screen Resolution 2560 x 1440@120hz- S-IPS Dual Link DVI | 1920 x 1080 TN HDMI Keyboard PS/2 Gateway P/N: KB-0447, Model Number KB-2961, Version: CV Mouse Logitech Wireless Mouse M305 PSU OCZ StealthXStream 500W Case XION Solaris (Black Case, Green LED) Cooling Fans? Thanks. I'm just trying to make the most well informed decision I can.
@Reilly: The most I've seen is 2GB. But then again, you won't need as much RAM for a Netbook compared to a full Tower. | My System Specs | | System Manufacturer/Model Number Custom Built OS Windows 7 Ultimate 64 bit (6.1, Build 7601) Service Pack 1 CPU Intel Core 2 Quad CPU Q8200 @ 2.33GHz Motherboard Gigabyte Technology/G31M-ES2L Memory 4GB (2xCorsair XMS2 Xtreme Performance DDR2 CM2X2048-6400C5) Graphics Card NVIDIA BFG GeForce GTX 260 - Driver Version 306.97 Sound Card High Definition Audio Device - Logitech Z623 Monitor(s) Displays Overlord Tempest X270OC 27" Dual-link DVI | Acer H243H 24" Screen Resolution 2560 x 1440@120hz- S-IPS Dual Link DVI | 1920 x 1080 TN HDMI Keyboard PS/2 Gateway P/N: KB-0447, Model Number KB-2961, Version: CV Mouse Logitech Wireless Mouse M305 PSU OCZ StealthXStream 500W Case XION Solaris (Black Case, Green LED) Cooling Fans? Also, most netbook mobos can't support more than 2GB and 7 starter only supports 2GB at the most. | My System Specs | | System Manufacturer/Model Number Toshiba P775-S7100 OS Windows 7 Professional SP1 64-bit CPU Intel Core i5-2450M @2.5 GHz Memory 6 GB DDR3 1333MHz Graphics Card Intel HD 3000 Monitor(s) Displays Built-in 17.3" LED; 22" Insignia NS-L22Q-10A Screen Resolution 1600x900; 1360x768 Hard Drives 750 GB Hitachi
