i dont have another drive anymore so am i gonna lose my stuff?
ITEMS THAT WILL BE RESET TO DEFAULT OR AFFECTED:
  • Sounds
  • Services
  • Visual Effects Settings
  • Device Drivers - Be sure to have these handy to reinstall. They do not always remain after the repair (upgrade) install.
  • You may lose the ability to sign on to MSN Messenger, to solve this problem have a look at this thread Unable to sign in to WLM.
  • You may lose your custom themes due to not having permisions set on the old themes. Go to the hidden themes folder at C:/Users/(User-Name)/AppData/Local/Microsoft/Windows/Themes, then Take Ownership of the themes folder and you will now have all your themes back.
  • It has been reported that you may also lose your Media Center gadget after doing the repair install.
  • Windows Updates will need to be checked and reinstalled again.
so if i reinstall im not gonna lose any of my games or anything? in program files for example or any of my movies?

ive tried many other things i doubt that any other program will work.

what do you mean by checking my threads??

Windows 7 Ultimate (64-Bit)

Threads=instances of all the .exe/.dll/etc etc that Windows has open/active at any given point in time.

A typical user never gets involved with threads, but going the full monty on your problem, you've gotten taken to THE THREAD ZONE!

That Y-Kill I uploaded will show threads...

This is not normal. I do not remember whether we covered that already. But did you run a DPC Latency test?

Several things aren't very clear.

How long have you had this computer? New, upgraded, or?

What was the 'other computer' referred to?

Please tell us what software and hardware is different from your 'other computer', also give us a list of your current software, this may seem insignificant but, may help someone to spot a problem.

Have you D/L'ed anything from what might be considered a less than 100% safe site?

Have you done any overclocking?

Also, fill out your system specs, this is likely caused by hardware and we don't know what your main components are...
D/L SIW - System Information for Window
I assume your OS is 32bit?
Need to know what the CPU model is.
The motherboard is important to know.
Ram, need brand, speed, manufacturer P/N.
Be as thorough as possible.

Which type of installation media are you using?
MS DVD, D/L and burned to DVD or USB stick?

As suggested previously a Repair Install - How to Do a Repair Install to Fix Windows 7 - may solve this issue.

This issue needs to be resolved, before you proceed with anything else.

i ran the scan and it said some corrupt files were found and they would be repaired. i rebotted and the problem was still there... now i cant even sign in to my msn account...
If sfc /scannow can't fix the OS, then you can try Repair Install mentioned above. If that doesn't fix the problem you may need to do a Clean install.

D/L and run Malwarebytes Anti-Malware.

Report back with the results of each step you try, inform us if you have tried anything not mentioned in this thread.

We need more information in order to try and help you.

thnks 4 all the help people really but this is pointless since sooo many people are havin the same problem and no solution is yet to be found then i think its a waste of time... im gonna upgrade to win 7 ultimate 64 because i cant see 1024MB of ram on 32 wich kinda annoys me. if the problem presists still then ill have no other choice than come back tho this thread or open a new one
