Will MS Livecam vx-3000 work on computers in Australia?

I want to send a laptop webcam (MS Lifecam VX-3000 powered by USB) to a friend in Australia. If I buy one here in the US will it work in Australia?

Why wouldnt it? USB is USB both here and there. Just make sure that the camera and that computer are compatible.
