| | trying to connect socket scanner to pda in windows 7 Hi, I'm new with any of this equipment so here goes. I just bought a cx 2821 7p cordless scanner and I can't figure out how to get it connected to my pda. Wondering if anyone can help? My pda is an HP ipaq HX2795. (I'm new with this too). I have windows 7, so I downloaded windows mobile 6.1 because active sync won't work with 7 or vista. I then went to the socket support site and downloaded the connect agent, and the socketscan software, then did the copy and paste into the pda. I then installed them both. But now, trying to do the final step, I just get this "error, no scanner was found" or something like that. The scanner is charged, and sitting right next to the pda and both blue lights are flashing (bluetooth lights?), but nothing happens after a long process. Help! Thanks in advance. |
