    Is my drive LightScribe capable

    Hi everyone
My laptop, Acer Aspire 5735z is equipped with an LG HL-DT-ST DVDRAM GT10N optical drive and I wonder if it is capable of writing (or printing) LightScribe DVDs. I searched on the internet and I can't find an answer, so here I am ^^

If it's not capable, is there a way to make it so, like an updated firmware or cross flashing ?

From memory you should have a logo on the drive. I don't know if you can make a drive lightscibe.

I used to use Light Scribe quite alot.

It does take way too long though. Hopefully the speeds have gotten better since.

    Thanks everybody!
No LightScribe logo on the drive, and the manual states that only the GT20L model features this. Is there any chance to crossflash it to enable LightScibe, or do you think it's a different hardware from the GT20L (which have the same specification manual)
I insist cause I already bought a pack of discs

Only if you want to take the chance (and a very good one) of bricking the drive and having to buy a new one. You want to use LightScribe you need to get a drive that supports it.
