Dvd drive will not work :(
Hello , recently I bought a Toshiba-Samsung SH-D162D to "backup" my xbox 360 games.It is pre flashed with the Kreon firmware so it can read the games etc...
Anyway to the point , as I already have an internal Disk drive I've decided to make this one external but using a Sata/IDE o usb connector and the computer recognises the drive but when plugged in the computer seems to become less responsive and explorer.exe needs to keep restarting (it never does this when it is not plugged in) nor will the programs that enable me to backup my games open.
As it is a IDE Drive i have set the jumper thing to Master and i've even disconnected my other drive completely, still no luck...
If anyone can help please post here as im in desperate need
Also , instantly after i disconnect it there everthing i've wanted to open/close works ,which makes me source all the problems directley to this drive.
