Is that 2x4GB ? Quote: 2 x DIMM, Max. 4 GB, DDR2 1066(O.C.)/800/667 Non-ECC,Un-buffered Memory because I've seen a review in TechTree that says 8GB supported for that MB Techtree.com India > Reviews > Basics > Motherboards > Asus P5KPL-AM/PS has Anti Power Surge Technology
Its on the top in the Pros EDIT: The TechTree review is probably wrong. The MB supports a max of 4GB DDR2 only. PS: That link to ASUS site works only in IE for me
